From inspiring workshops and lectures to music, literature, and a market filled with Hungarian specialities, our centre was transformed into a little piece of Hungary for the day.

Students, Hungarians, and Hungarophiles alike gathered to immerse themselves in the country’s language, history, art, and architecture. We were even honoured by the presence of the Hungarian Ambassador, Dr Tamás Iván Kovács!

Everyone headed home with new friendships, fresh travel plans, and bags full of Hungarian treats. One thing is certain: Hungaromania 2026 was a resounding success.

Huge thanks to Hedwig Gerits and the fantastic Hungaromania team, the experts, the musicians, the stallholders, and the many volunteers!
