Who can register at the CLT?

Anyone who is (upon registration):

• 16 years old OR
• 15 years old and has completed the first 2 years of full-time secondary education

AND

• has the Belgian nationality OR
• complies with the legal residency requirements in Belgium

Are you an EU national? Deliver a copy of your ID to our secretary's office. We need it to validate your registration.

Are you a non-EU national? Make an appointment at our secretary's office and bring one of the following documents with you:

• a valid passport with a valid visa
• a valid ID from a visa-free country with the Arrival Declaration (Aankomstverklaring)
• an electronic residence card for foreign nationals living in Belgium (Vreemdelingenkaart)
• an immatriculation certificate ("orange card")
• another valid proof of legal residence in Belgium

During the registration procedure we may also ask you to deliver us some other documents (diplomas, certificates, attestations...).

Are you between 12 and 16 years old and do you want to brush up on your Dutch? You can do it at the CLT, if you meet the following conditions:

• you take a course in Dutch voluntarily
• the course you take is organized outside of school hours
• your school provides us with
  • a description of your language needs
  • contact details of the person who monitors your Dutch training programme at your school

Registration is personal and cannot be passed on to third parties.
